We collect your email address when you subscribe to Zignal or download the Zignal Monthly. We use it to send you the content you asked for. We store it with a third-party email service. We don't sell it. We don't share it outside Infozense. You can unsubscribe and be deleted at any time. We also collect anonymous traffic analytics to understand what content works. That's it.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Infozense Co., Ltd. ("Infozense", "we", "us"), a Thailand-based AI and analytics team. For privacy questions, contact us via infozense.com.

2. What we collect

Email address. When you subscribe to a newsletter or download the Zignal Monthly, we collect your email address. That's the only personal data we actively ask for.

Traffic analytics. We use Google Analytics (or an equivalent privacy-respecting alternative) to understand which pages are read, from which countries, on which devices. This data is anonymised and cannot identify individual readers.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Firebase) keeps short-term server logs including IP addresses. These are used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention — not for marketing.

What we do not collect: names, phone numbers, physical addresses, payment information, or any other personal data. We don't ask for it, and the site doesn't include fields to enter it.

3. Why we collect it

Your email address is used exclusively to deliver the content you subscribed to — the Zignal newsletter, the Zignal Monthly PDF, and future updates you opt into.

Analytics are used to improve Zignal — which content lands, which doesn't, which pages are slow. No individual-level profiling.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your email address as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your email is removed from the active list within 7 days. A minimal suppression record (a hash) is retained to make sure we don't accidentally re-email you after you've opted out.

Analytics data is retained according to the provider's default (typically 14–26 months).

5. Third parties

We use the following services to operate Zignal. Each has its own privacy policy.

Email service provider — stores subscriber lists and sends newsletters. We will publish the specific provider here before launch.

Google Analytics (or equivalent) — anonymised traffic measurement.

Firebase Hosting — serves the website.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any other party for marketing purposes. We may share aggregate, non-personally-identifiable traffic data publicly.

6. Your rights (Thailand PDPA)

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA, 2022), you have the right to:

Access — ask us what data we hold about you.
Correct — ask us to fix anything that's wrong.
Delete — ask us to remove your data entirely ("right to be forgotten").
Withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time without explanation.
Port — ask for your data in a machine-readable format.
Object — object to any specific processing activity.

7. Cookies

Zignal uses minimal cookies: one for analytics (if present), one for a potential language preference (EN/TH). No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser without breaking the site.

8. International readers

Zignal is operated from Thailand and primarily serves readers globally who are interested in Thai markets. If you read from the EU, the UK, or any other jurisdiction with its own data protection law, we intend to honour the rights granted to you under that law to the fullest extent practical.

9. Children

Zignal is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted their email, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change affects how we use your email, we will notify current subscribers directly.
